Who Am I?
Hi! I’m Jodie. I am a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience, and have worked many years in hospitals around Adelaide with most of my years as a Surgical/scrub nurse with a love for plastics both reconstructive and cosmetic. In 2014 I stepped out of the traditional confines of the hospital and bought Laser Skin and Vein Clinic, beginning my journey in the aesthetic arena. Returning to study to achieve another goal and that is my Masters in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner status.
My personal approach if you know me is always about the natural outcomes. I have a passion for treatments that address all aging concerns so I have worked within the clinic to offer the most effective treatments to deal with all of the aging concerns that come our way. I believe in treatment plans that are delivered over time to ensure you do not lose your natural look; it just improves overtime. I love anti-wrinkle and dermal fillers but have a deep belief that the skin is the most important area to maintain and improve to see the best results. Often I am leaning toward the less is more and small tweaks over time have wonderful long lasting outcomes and allow some control over our aging processes.
Education is key, a great understanding of the products are important but creating the right harmony with facial aesthetics comes from a deep/sound knowledge of anatomy and understanding of what outcomes can be achieved. Making sure that expectation of what can be achieved is understood and the understanding that it is a commitment to treatments overtime to maintain our goals and outcomes.
