Cancellations & Missed Appointment Policies
The following procedures and policies are designed to maximise our efficiency in providing you with the best possible service.
We are a busy practice and often have back to back clients throughout the day. We do our utmost to operate efficiently and keep to scheduled appointment times. Your appointment time is made specifically for you – we do not squeeze extra patients in, or double-book your time.
We understand occasionally circumstances arise that cause us to run late. We ask for your patience and understanding.
You can assist our efforts to operate efficiently by arriving on time for your appointments. A five minute delay in your arrival will put us five minutes behind for every patient who follows you.
Please allow adequate time for parking.
If you are late for your appointment you may be asked to wait for a short time so as to not disadvantage those patients who have arrived on time. If you are 15 minutes late for your appointment you may be asked to reschedule if it is not convenient for us to see you.
Should you need to change an appointment time, we ask that you give us the courtesy of 24 hours notice (if possible so someone else can be offered your appointment time).
First missed appointment will receive a phone call and be reminded of our policy. Second and subsequent missed appointments may incur a $50 non-attendance fee or we may request a deposit of $50 to secure your booking. If this appointment is cancelled out side of the cancellation policy of 24 hours or not attended at the allocated time slot the $50 booking fee will be forfeited.
We send reminder texts to your mobile approx 48 hours prior to your appointment – please confirm your booking with a ‘Yes’ reply, if not confirmed we will presume that you are not attending and your appointment time may be given to someone else.
